tax form 2210

Average year-Late Can I make 1 payment of estimated tax by January?
IM awaits the end thisYear income year (nothing accepted). Can I make only 1 payment of estimated tax for the 4th quarter to cover my additional liabililty? Is it against the rules? I do not complete Form 2210 if required.
1. Yes, make estimated tax payments. 2. Use software – it will ask the date payment and will sort of tell you if the IRS computer will hit you with an estimated tax penalty if you do not file Form 2210. The IRS program does not go without knowing the form * * when you have income, so you can still serve a term, even if you send a payment.

How the IRS know if someone does not pay taxes?
Oh that's right, because they have no idea if someone is at work, until this person comes on, to file an income tax form. Is it not prepostrous how some people do not even bother to file for taxes on income? The IRS has no way of knowing that people earn money, and not even pay taxes. I think the law should be amended. What do you think about this issue? I can not help but admire just angry about this situation.
Only way they find is if you're one of the 5% of the population that is audited annually.

Am I handling my 1099-MISC correctly?
I made two side jobs this year, made $ 1,000 and received a 1099-MISC. I made a Schedule C-EZ and reporting form of SE. However, it seems that I pay taxes on my side job twice. On the 1040 I put $ 1000 in respect of business income. My net income is used to determine my tax on the tax table. So money I made these secondary jobs is already used to determine how much I owe in taxes. But I add the tax of 15% SE for the amount I owe according to the tax table. So it seems that I pay taxes on that income twice. Is that correct or have I forgotten anything? NOTE: I just received 1099-MISC income and had forgotten. I live in a rural area, and can not get an appointment with a local accountant. I would try to do it myself.
Looks like he is very close to being right to me. In fact SE tax is 15.3%, but you manage to reduce your gross income by half. So it normally ends up being a tax of about 14.8%. Thus, 15% is close enough. But, yes it is the way it works … you pay the normal tax, then you pay your taxes and SS Fica too. Since you are self-employeed there is no society on the basis of your half. You get to pay only half too. Hope this helps
